Return-To-Work Following COVID-19 at Janis Krause Acupuncture Clinic
As of May 19, 2020, select personal care services are allowed to resume business but will be required to operate under strict guidelines related to physical distancing and disinfecting practices, the clinic will be operating under these new guidelines mandated by the province for the increased safety of the public and our practitioners following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The front door of the building will remain locked at all times, except to let in patrons for their scheduled appointments and/or to pick up their orders. Patients will be required to wait in their vehicles or outside the clinic until the time of their appointment, text me at 1-306-921-0084 to let me know when you have arrived. This is to limit the congestion in the waiting room, in order to be able to comply with physical distancing protocols that have been put in place.
* Notice: the building policy requires all clients must wear a mask at all times - this can be cloth. You will be turned away if this is missing. We have disposable masks available for purchase (limit 1).
Prior to entering the building, you will be asked the COVID-19 Screening Questions:
1. Do you have a fever and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing?
2. Have you traveled out of the country within the last 14 days?
3. Have you had any close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?
You will be required to sign a waiver before each appointment, please have it printed and completed prior to your appointment.

What to Expect In the Office:
There are hand sanitizers in the front foyer available for patient use. You are required to clean your hands on entry and before exiting the building.
Expect to see our staff and practitioners in masks, aprons, scrubs and/or gloves.
Upon entering the clinic, you will see a plexiglass barrier at our receptionist desk, as well as plastic-wrapped point-of-sale devices, to ensure the safety of our staff. We encourage you to use contactless payment options, such as e-transfer or debit card.
Work and service areas, as well as the washroom facility, will be sanitized after every patient. We encourage you to only use the washroom onsite if absolutely necessary.
Please attend your appointment alone, we will not allow unscheduled visitors into the building.
The water cooler will not be available to our patients. Please bring your own water bottle for your personal consumption.
Booking Appointments, Fees and Supplement Orders:
Booking is available online as usual. There has been a slight increase to our fees to reflect the extra costs of hand sanitizers, cleaning equipment and related safety gear. Extra time has been added to each appointment to allow extra time for cleaning and disinfection between each appointment. 24 hours notice is required to change or cancel appointments.
Supplement orders will be filled through Fullscript direct-to-patient shipping. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO NOT DROP INTO THE CLINIC UNEXPECTEDLY TO BOOK APPOINTMENTS OR TO ORDER SUPPLEMENTS. We are offering free shipping for orders over $150
Please allow us some flexibility, as these guidelines may continue to develop over the coming weeks. There will likely be some kinks as we all continue to navigate this new world.
